Walk towards Bath along the canal from Limply Stoke and you will cross the Dundas aqueduct where there is a small canal boat yard. Follow the canal right towards Bath ? miles further on is the Claverton Pumping Station a magnificent feat of Georgian ingenuity. If you follow the canal to the left after crossing the aqueduct you will be walking along the Somerset Coal canal. A few hundred yards along this spur you will find the Angelfish cafe/restaurant (just in case you are hungry).
The American Museum at Claverton is well worth a visit for its extensive collection of Shaker furniture.
